Young Director Struggling For Rs 3 Lakhs

The toughest job in the entire film industry is that of a director. It is not just about talent but also a good quotient of luck that is required to make a mark. That way, there are many aspiring and struggling directors who are still trying to get a good break but are unable to do anything.

The reason we say this is after getting reports about one director. He is B V S Ravi also known as ‘Machcha Ravi’. Though he made his debut with the film ‘Wanted’ he is still struggling to get another project. Sources say that currently, he is writing part time screenplay for two-three projects.

For this, he is reportedly getting Rs 3 lakhs as remuneration. The cine folks say “Ravi is nowadays approaching many established names and asking for the part time screenplay projects. That way, he manages to pen and takes anywhere between Rs 2 L – Rs 3 L. He has become more like the odd job mechanic now.”
